DoorDash → bankbrowser-only CSV matching

Find the payouts that
do not match your bank.

Upload a finalized DoorDash Payouts CSV and your bank transactions CSV. Payout Recon auto-detects compatible amount and date columns, matches deposits one-to-one, surfaces exceptions, and can optionally explain each payout from Transaction Detail.

Sample data

Test the full reconciler before using your own files.

Upload the Payouts and bank samples first. The result should show 3 matched payouts, 1 DoorDash-only payout for $760.40, and 1 bank-only deposit for $800.00. Then add the Transaction Detail sample to drill into all four DoorDash payouts by Payout ID.

Local processing: the selected files are parsed in your browser. Payout Recon does not upload the CSV contents.

DoorDash payout reconciliation

Match DoorDash payouts to the deposits that actually reached the bank.

DoorDash bank reconciliation starts with two records: the finalized payout export and the bank transactions that received the deposits. Payout Recon compares payout amounts one-to-one, optionally constrains matches by payout and bank dates, and keeps unmatched or ambiguous rows visible instead of forcing a match.

What to review when a payout is missing

A DoorDash-only row means the payout exists in the platform export but no eligible bank deposit was found. Check the bank date window, amount sign, description filter, and whether the deposit arrived after month-end. A bank-only row means a candidate deposit was not tied to a payout in the uploaded DoorDash file.

DoorDash reconciliation FAQ

Which DoorDash file should I use?
Use the finalized Payouts export for bank reconciliation. Transaction Detail is optional and is used to explain the transactions behind a payout.

Can one bank deposit match multiple payouts?
No. The reconciler uses one-to-one matching, so a bank row can satisfy only one DoorDash payout row.

What if the export columns are unusual?
Open Change detected columns. Amount and date choices are restricted to compatible data types, while payout IDs use reference-compatible columns.

Use finalized payout data

DoorDash describes the Payouts page as finalized payment data for regular financial reconciliation. Transaction-level reports add the order-by-order explanation behind a payout.

Why mappings are still editable

DoorDash has changed downloadable financial report columns over time. Payout Recon auto-detects compatible fields from names and cell types, but keeps an advanced mapping fallback for unusual exports and older report versions.

How Transaction Detail is linked

Transaction rows are grouped by Payout ID. When a per-row Net total is available it is used directly; otherwise Payout Recon calculates payout contribution as Credit minus Debit and compares the grouped total with the Payouts CSV amount.

Matching rules

Each DoorDash payout can match at most one bank row. Amounts must be within the selected tolerance. If dates are mapped on both files, they must also fall within the selected date window.

Transaction Detail is explanatory only; it does not change the bank reconciliation match. All selected CSV files remain in the browser and are discarded on refresh or close.
